The 2022 U.S. Outdoor Track & Field Championships kick off at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon on Thursday, June 23 (2022-06-23), featuring the nation’s top runners, shot putters, hurdlers and more.
Athletics’ top stars, including Olympic veterans like Sydney McLaughlin and Ryan Crouser, meet reigning world champions like Noah Lyles, Grant Holloway and Christian Coleman, for a chance to qualify for the World Championships in July 2022.
It will be the last national competition for Allyson Felix, the 11-time Olympic medalist, who at 36 has announced she will retire after this season.
The top three finishers in most events will qualify for the World Championships, although events with reigning World or Diamond League season champions who have World Championship passes get four spots in the team.
