The tuning specialists have once again worked their magic, creating this beast and showcasing its power before handing the keys over to its lucky owner.
Hennessey Performance is probably the biggest tuning house in the United States. The Texas-based company has produced a wide range of upgrades for the various cars it deals with, including pickup trucks, muscle cars and more. And of course they are creating their super cool Venom F5 hypercar.
In a video uploaded to their YouTube channel, however, we see them giving a Hennessey Chevy Camaro ZL1 Exorcist with 1000 hp a test drive before heading to its client.
Get on track with the mighty Camaro ZL1
This video shows Alex and Juan going through the final evaluation tests of the car before it is finally delivered to its new owner. Of course, we get some amazing sounds from the Exorcist as the two guys unleash his power. When the Camaro is then pushed full throttle, it visibly pushes both men back into their seats unleashing all of its 1,000 horsepower on them.
Alex is able to rev the car up to 140 mph with ease, and his 10-speed automatic transmission keeps him in the right power band at all times.
The end of the line for the Gen Six Camaro
As Alex himself says, the Gen Six Chevrolet Camaro is heading towards the end of its life cycle. Which also means that Hennessey will be finishing production on its Exorcists soon, with this one likely in the final 50. And we’ll definitely miss the incredible sound that this particular Hennessey car makes when your foot is down.
Alex then releases the car from a standing start, and 60 mph is reached very quickly, faster than many of our brains can probably calculate. It’s amazing what Hennessey can do.
A mighty Camaro with big horsepower
At the end of the video, the car is ready to be delivered to its new owner. They will also have a lot of fun with it. The car’s 0-60mph time is just 2.1 seconds, and the 1/4 mile is achievable in around 9.5 seconds thanks to that 1,000bhp.
Hennessey also offered a limited special edition Hennessey Exorcist 30th Anniversary Camaro that is only 30 examples and features various 30th Anniversary Edition exterior graphics on the side. It is definitely one of Hennessey’s best products.
