CLOVIS, Calif. – After two days of the 2022 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Colorado State and New Mexico lead the women’s standings, while the Air Force leads the men’s side. Competing at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif., the Rams and Lobos each had 24 points, just six points ahead of San Diego State. The Falcons lead the men’s side with 30 points, 12 points ahead of second-place Colorado State.
Colorado State Senior Lexie Keller won her first MW heptathlon title with a score of 5,834 on Thursday afternoon, becoming the first athlete to score more than 5,800 points in the heptathlon in championship history. Keller finished two points off the all-time Conference record.
